Denwax Clean – Cleaning slate floors and slate tiles

Clean the slate surface with Denwax Clean and then ensure that all soap residue is removed with a damp cloth. Dry thoroughly immediately with a dry cloth—do not allow water to stand on the slate, as it may leave streaks. For larger slate floors, dilute Denwax Clean slightly in water and apply with a well-wrung floor mop.

NOTE: Never use acidic cleaning agents or limescale removers on slate—the acid can etch the surface. Denwax Clean is soap-based and pH-neutral, and therefore safe for slate.

Denwax Care – Care and protection of slate floors and slate countertops

Apply Denwax Care in a thin layer to a dry, clean slate surface and then buff with a dry cloth. Denwax Care penetrates the slate’s pores and protects against moisture and dirt—while also enhancing the slate’s natural depth and colours.

NOTE: Never apply in direct sunlight during the summer months, and ensure that the item is not overheated by the sun.
